The Gig that Keeps on Giving!

So the PianoFondue offices got a mysterious package delivered last week. What should appear inside but three kick-ass RC trucks from our good friends at BOSS Snowplows up in Iron Mountain, MI. We played a couple Christmas parties for them back in December, and apparently we were caught drooling all over the RC truck they were giving away that night. Thank you so much, BOSS Snowplows. You guys are amazing--what a wonderful surprise. Best friends for life! :)

PianoFondue this weekend. Brink Lounge in Madison Friday (9pm-1am) and at Dayton Hills Bar in Richland Center on Saturday (9pm-1am).

Francie Phelps and I will be at the Ivory Room in Madison on Tuesday from 8pm-12am

New Years Surprises

Man, did we have a killer time at the Brink Lounge on New Years Eve! First off, the place was packed. I think there was something like a 25-table waiting list the morning of the 31st. Thank you to everyone who came out and partied with us--the energy was incredible! Also, a HUGE thank you to Mike Massey for stepping in at the last minute to cover for my ailing partner. Mike was cool, calm, and collected for the whole show and really rocked the crowd. Francie Phelps was also on call for the evening and stepped in to sing a handful of tunes as the night progressed. Incidentally, make sure you check out Mike and Francie's new project, Stop the Clock. They're working on an album of originals, some of which you can check out on YouTube.

January is going to be a busy, busy month for holiday parties and the like. I'll be appearing solo next at Plan B on the 10th (8pm-12am), and PianoFondue will be in Madison at the Brink Lounge on the 13th (9pm-1am).

Say Hello to My Little Friend

My new baby makes her debut tonight at Plan B on Willy Street. I picked up a Roland Fantom G8 from my good friends over at Full Compass last week, and I can't wait to use it in a gig. It also has a lot of sweet recording functions that should make it much easier to lay down new tracks for this website. I think the first tunes to tackle will be a new version of "Ninja" and a new song that should sound wonderful with a little synth--"Come to Me"

Once the next couple weeks of holiday craziness are over, I should be able to sit down for some quality time with the keyboard. I'm looking forward to letting you hear what I come up with :)

Holidays in Iron Mountain

Big thanks to BOSS Snowplows and System Controls for having us up to play their Christmas Parties this week in Iron Mountain, Michigan. We had a blast with you guys both at the parties and at the subsequent after-bars! Thanks for making us feel so welcome--I can't wait til the next time :)

Back up north...

So the weekend in Minnesota was a ton of fun, although honestly, I think we had more fun on the drives than at the casino/hotel! The show was great, and the multiple organizations represented there all had a blast :) Hopefully that'll translate to some good corporate work in '12. Anyhoo, I'm back in Madison for a couple days before heading out for yet another corporate holiday party. This one's a double for BOSS Snow Plows up in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Cross your fingers for another worry-free drive!

I'll be back performing in Madison on Tuesday, December 27, at Plan B on Willy Street. I'll be on from 8pm til midnight, so come sing along! (2-for-1 drinks, too!)

PianoFondue is on the road again. We're heading out today for Saturday's show in Mahnomen, MN. Holy crap is that way up there! This weekend (Dec 9, 2012)

Fun weekend for PianoFondue! After a wonderful and surprising awards ceremony held by the Marinette County Special Olympics, we're heading to our Dells home, Monk's at the Wilderness, for a public show on Friday from 9pm-1am. Next, Chris and I will head over to Appleton to perform for Keller Construction's holiday party on Saturday. Then back to Madison on Sunday to relax for a couple days!

My next solo show is on Tuesday, Dec 13 at Plan B on Willy Street in Madison. I'm playing from 8pm-midnight.
